Introducing the town of Koroni in Greece


Koroni is a coastal town, in the region of Messinia, located in the south of Peloponnese, 52 km kilometers away from Kalamata. By 2001 its population had reached the number of 1.668 inhabitants.

It is a town full of historical monuments. The most well-known are the Venetian Castle of Koroni and the church dedicated to Panagia Eleistria below the castle in a palm tree grove.

Last but not least, it is surrounded by a large number of beautiful beaches and it can be characterized as an ideal holiday destination.
